Design for ‘die welle’ nominated for LEAF Awards

schneider+schumacher’s newly designed external landscaping for the office complex ‘die welle’ (‘the wave’) is among four projects shortlisted in the Leading European Architecture Forum (LEAF) Awards in the Urban Design category. It is the only project in Germany to have reached the shortlist, which was drawn up by an international jury. LEAF has been issuing awards since 2001 for innovative architectural projects throughout the world – currently there are thirteen categories. The project ‘die welle’ was nominated in the Urban Design category, alongside projects from Turkey, Qatar and Canada. At an award ceremony in London on 14 October, LEAF will be announcing the winner.
